The admin runs in 8 languages — English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, and Arabic (with full right-to-left support). Message templates can be written in any of those languages too.

Yes — this is Recoverly's coexistence mode. Connect via Meta's official Embedded Signup, scan a QR from your WhatsApp Business app (Settings › Linked devices), and both keep working. History imports, and your phone's chats sync with the Recoverly inbox both ways. Full explainer here.

Fully official. Recoverly is a Meta Tech Provider sending through the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). No unofficial clients, no number-banning risk from sketchy gateways.

WhatsApp requires pre-approved templates for any business-initiated message — it's how the channel stays spam-free (and why open rates stay sky-high). Recoverly ships ready templates, submits them, and tracks approval for you. Replies within a customer-service window don't need templates.

Meta scores every business number green, yellow, or red based on how customers react to your messages. Recoverly shows your rating and automatically pauses sending if it turns red, protecting your number while you adjust.

One, set by Meta: while your number is linked to the platform, WhatsApp voice and video calls are disabled on it. Messaging — both in the app and through Recoverly — is unaffected.

Only customers who opted in — through the storefront widget, the text-marketing checkbox at checkout, or a back-in-stock signup. Recoverly records the consent source for every subscriber and shows it to you.

They're opted out immediately — automations, campaigns, and the AI all stop messaging them. Opt-outs are suppressed rather than deleted, so a CSV import or sync can never accidentally re-subscribe them.

Cart reminders go to shoppers who provided their phone number at checkout, under Shopify's checkout consent. Anyone can stop them instantly with STOP, and Recoverly never messages a suppressed contact.

No. The AI only replies to customers who message you first, inside WhatsApp's 24-hour service window. It never initiates, never answers opt-out requests with sales talk, and steps back when you join the conversation.

No. No message caps, no contact tiers, no overages. Meta bills its own WhatsApp conversation fees separately through your WhatsApp Business account.

Yes — downgrade or uninstall whenever you like from the Shopify admin. Uninstalling triggers Shopify's data-deletion webhooks and we erase your data accordingly.

Only what the features need: store settings, order/checkout status for triggers, customer name and phone for delivery, your Meta connection, and message records for your inbox and analytics. Full details in the privacy policy.

Yes — we respond to Shopify's GDPR webhooks (customer and shop redaction) with permanent deletion, we never sell personal data, and consent provenance is first-class in the product.
